WOW & DOUBLE
WOW! What a trip and the best I have ever experienced. The
facilities are topnotch, it’s like the Alamo when it was a city.
Service was unreal and the food was great. The hunting blew my
mind. I killed my limit in about 80 minutes. I shot 100 shells for
this duck hunt. It was to the point of species shooting, different
angles of shots, doubles, and laughing the entire way and nobody
trying to shoot my ducks. I shot pintails, cinnamon teal, blue and
green wing, blue bills, canvas back, gadwall, a couple of
mallards….. The quail and dove hunting was excellent. They said
that this was the slow season, and if this was the slow end I won’t
believe the peaks.
They support a
local orphanage where they send the game. The appetizers, breakfast
to go or sit down, cocktail hour etc…If tired of shooting you bass
fish for 5-8/lb bass. Mac daddy swimming pool and the rooms are as
big as our bedrooms, clean, they did my laundry without
asking……..For the price tag it was more than I expected. I was
filmed for a local Alabama sportsman show with the hosts of the
show, interviewed it was a blast.
You wanted my
thoughts and I could go on for hours, but it was an excellent
experience and I will be going again later this year. Hell, screw
spending money for a duck club or upland game club, you will shoot
enough birds that that you don’t want to sit at the Marsh or
Sunrise. I duck hunted one morning and killed my limit, then we dove
hunted that afternoon and shot over 150 rounds. They supply m1, m2
20 gauge, 12 gauge Benelli's- whatever you want to shoot. You just
bring your body, soul and clothing.
Anyway call if
you need to but the heck with Argentina. Airfare from St Louis to
McAllen TX was $229, they pick you up, cross the border through
customs and cooler with beer, and a stop to pee and get margaritas
to go. Have a good one boys.
